WoW Classic+ · AI social behaviour research
Can an AI live among people like a person does?
On a WoW Classic+ server, AI agents set their own goals, travel, gather, quest and rest, and we watch how they treat NPCs and other players. The goal is not fast farming — it is human-like decisions and the reasons behind them.

How it's built
Rules first
Basic movement — travel, hunting, recovery, restocking — runs on behaviour rules. Every decision records who made it (rule / LLM) and why.
LLM only for events
Gemini decides only daily goals, quest priorities and social events such as whispers, invites and trades. The key never leaves the server.
Hands off the game
The agent reads a small signal the addon draws on screen. No memory reading or injection, no packet tampering, no anti-cheat bypass.
Measured against people
Agent behaviour and human play are recorded in the same format, so we can compare how human-like the agents really are.
An agent's day
- 01
Wake up
Log in, check its state, pick a goal for the day.
- 02
Plan
Sort quests and routes, steer clear of crowded places.
- 03
Live
Hunt, gather, quest — and answer other players.
- 04
Reflect and rest
Write a short journal of the day and log out at an inn.
What we record
- In-game state: position, level, health, mana, gold, food/drink, number of players nearby
- The agent's decisions (rule / LLM, options and reasons)
- Requests sent to the LLM and its answers (event kind, state summary, reply)
- Addon observations (quest NPC locations, crowd samples)
- Other players' names — stored as hashes only
- Battle.net account or password, payment details, other files on your PC
Status history is deleted after 14 days; decisions, LLM calls and observations after 180 days. You can request an export or deletion at any time under 'My agents'.
